ASRC Federal AFSS is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. We are seeking a Project Support Specialist to support a NASA contract in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities:
The Science Mission Directorate (SMD) at NASA Headquarters is seeking a Project Support Specialist to provide executive business support in a team environment to the SMD Enterprise to include the following:
Summary Duties and Responsibilities:
Independently performs administrative management functions that service and/or fulfill several organizational requirements, such as assisting in SMD processes such as on-boarding and off-boarding of personnel, travel preparation, facilities management, and IT coordination.
Maintain databases that reflect the fulfillment and/or status of administrative requirements and/or systems.
Working with the Headquarters Action Tracking System (HATS), Partnership Agreement Maker (PAM), and other systems to assure all SMD actions are being actively addressed.
Calendar management: including calendar resolution to assure key meetings are covered by the client principals.
Coordinate meeting logistics, including agenda, attendees, reserving conference rooms and/or call-in numbers, travel information, etc.
Preparing travel authorizations and vouchers for personnel, including international and invitational travel.
Conducts a technical review of correspondence prepared for signature of organization executives to assure consistency with agency procedures on completeness, timeliness, and format standards.
Develop, maintain, and/or update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other documented processes.
Provide Answering telephones, including taking and delivering messages.
Greeting visitors and escorting them to meeting locations.
Receiving/distributing mail.
Ordering and organizing office supplies.
Supporting key meetings (e.g., establishing call-in line, taking notes, creating sign-in list).
Support and develop organizational milestone planning activities.
Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements :
Must have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
Must be proactive and quick to respond to customer requests.
Individual must meet government NAC and citizenship/permanent residency requirements for access to NASA Headquarters. Extensive background investigation will be performed as a requirement of the job.
Education and Experience:
