ProjectManager Position and Responsibilities A Project Manager (PM) serves as aclient account manager and is the primary point of contact for theclient and other outside consultants concerning the project(s). A PM isfully responsible for the overall development and execution of aportfolio of projects (typically \$1MM+ project fee), including projectprofitability, quality, safety, client satisfaction, controllingavailable resources, project scope, schedule, budget, and contractualrequirements. A Project Manager possesses broad knowledge, understandingand experience with the standard engineering and construction modelsincluding A/E, AEPCM, or Design Build. PM\'s provide leadership andorganization to the project and instill confidence in the clientregarding the project team\'s abilities. A PM demonstrates excellentcommunication skills (verbal and written) and maintains specificknowledge of planning and scheduling functions and a thoroughunderstanding of contract administration, liability, and safety issues.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Supports business and relationship developments activities of thedivision. Coordinates completion of defined work scope for a projectbetween disciplines/locations involved. Assists in preparation ofproject execution strategy and reviews progress as drawings andspecifications are developed and prior to issue for permit andconstruction. Monitors changes in scope/schedule and secures ChangeAuthorizations, as required. Manages project financials, pricing, andcash flow. Develops, reviews, and approves all project managementdocuments including scope development, project costs and schedules, andinternal/external communications. Assists with developing proposals,project specification/scopes and negotiates final contracts. Monitorsproject costs and quality to ensure the profitability and technicalperformance of the project and develops innovative actions to correctvariances to scope, budget and/or schedule.
