Position Summary:
Huntington Ingalls Industries: Mission Technologies Division is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to support our work with the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency. Our ideal candidate will oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. The Project Manager will have regular visibility and interaction with the Program Manager(s) and other Senior officials both internally and externally on the NGA side therefore, presentation and communication skills are a must have. Telework will be able to be performed remotely through access to the SBU which will be provided following hire.
Candidates will need to be located near NCE in Springfield, VA , NGA HQ in St Louis, MO or relocate to MO or VA for this role.

What you will do:
Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
What we are looking for:
4 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 2 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years relevant progressive experience.
Experience working in government contracting and with government and/or military personnel
At least at TS clearance
Bonus Points for:
Project Management certifications: PMP, CAPM, CPMP
TS/SCI w/poly
5 or more years of experience working with the NGA either as a contractor, in prior military experience, or directly
Physical Requirements
