  SUMMARY: LogistiQ, a Division of LEWCO is a fast-growing conveyor equipment supplier for customers in retail, ecommerce & distribution located in Port Clinton, Ohio. With deep roots in American ingenuity, LogistiQ has the experience of a 100-year-old company but operates much like a start-up with high energy and nimble speed.

   

  We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Conveyor Systems Project Manager and Permitting Specialist, Conveyor Systems to oversee the successful delivery of conveyor system projects from conception to completion, with a focus on managing the permitting process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project, from planning and design to installation and testing, while ensuring that all necessary permits are obtained and complied with.

   

  *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)

  Manage the overall planning, execution, and delivery of conveyor system projects in accordance with project specifications, budget, and timeline.Develop and maintain project schedules, track progress, and communicate project status updates to stakeholders.Manage all aspects of building permit applications, approvals, and inspections required for the installation of conveyor systems.Collaborate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors, to ensure project success and compliance with building codes and regulations.Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation plans, and manage project scope changes as necessary.Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, risk registers, change logs, and communication plans.Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and forecasting costs.Ensure quality control and safety standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.Provide regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

   

  *QUALIFICATIONS: *

  Minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex conveyor system or construction projects, including a specialty focus on permitting.Strong understanding of building codes and regulations, with experience in obtaining building permits for conveyor system installations.Excellent project management skills, with experience in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize competing demands.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with project stakeholders and team members.Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience in managing and mentoring project team members.Experience with project management software, such as Microsoft Project or similar tools.Professional certifications, such as PMP or CCM, are preferred but not required.

   

  EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field OR 10 years of equivalent field experience

   

  LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  Ability to read and interpret documents such as proposals, engineering drawings, specifications, and procedure manuals
