Project Manager

Summary/Objective

The Project Manager is a key representative of Evans General Contractors, LLC. The Project Manager is responsible for leading Projects with the goal of exceeding our Clients expectations and delivering quality facilities on schedule and at the most competitive prices. The Project Manager is expected to develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, as well as subcontractors, to support the growth of the company.

Duties and Responsibilities

Lead the project team in the development and management of project scheduleDrive tasks and manage stakeholders to meet critical schedule milestones including design, procurement, construction, startup, commissioning, punch-listing, and closeout.Manage project schedule and drive construction site progress to achieve completion of the Project on-time and on-budgetSelects, coordinates and oversees subcontractorsworking on various phases of the ProjectsWork with Project Team to develop and issue Subcontracts and Purchase OrdersAssess risks and establish contingency plansManage work and inputs from variety of stakeholdersSupport Superintendent in the execution of ProjectResponsible for proper administration of construction contracts and for obtaining all necessary permits and licensesWork with project team to develop and manage project budget to meet contractual requirements and drive business profitability. Project manager is responsible for overall financial outcome of the project.Consistent and clear communication with internal and external customersManage project closeout phase including all requirements needed to close a ProjectConsistently demonstrate professional credibility, integrity, trust and commitmentOther duties as assignedQualifications

Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Construction Science or Civil Engineering, preferred5+ years of experience in Construction Project Management preferredStrong technical background and experience preferredSuperior communication skills, with a strong ability to influence decisions of team members, partners and customersEvans General Contractors, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
