Description:
Manage various projects related to the workload of the Trade Shows & Events Team. These projects include but are not limited to: trade shows, events, conferences and other customer related events that the company (both from a corporate and business unit perspective) participates in each year. Oversee key business unit leads and other cross-functional teams and implement schedule and timelines.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Plan, coordinate and execute every aspect of a project build for a trade show and/or event
· Maintain all project related tracking documents and communicate any changes to internal team or external vendors
· Create and implement project schedule and issue deadlines
· Guide and ensure consistency of client vision / line drawing / color rendering for each project
· Work in company ERP system to track progress and manage details of each specific project
· Oversee project plans and schedules for multiple projects and assure that all deadlines are met (customer previews, ship dates, return dates, etc)
· Lead, manage, supervise and provide direction to contractors and vendors
· Maintain or improve estimated gross margin on all projects
· Document add-ons or overages so that account manager can bill the client
· Ensure timely closure of projects
Qualifications
· Bachelors of Business Administration or Marketing preferred but not required
· Prior experience with Project Management
· Strong interpersonal skills
· 5-7 years of experience
· Must be willing to travel
