Exposure Scientist at CTEH is responsible for growth of the AppliedScience Group (ASG) Program through technical leadership, revenuegeneration, and mentor-based growth of ASG Scientists. This positionresides within the ER Sciences Division of the Emergency Response (ER)department structure. The ER Sciences Division supports two specificdisciplines of Emergency Response: public health with respondingtoxicologists and occupational health with exposure scientists. Thisposition will provide parallel technical direction, focused mainly onoccupational health of responding workers, chemical safety, andIndustrial Hygiene (IH)-related needs for emergency response, as well asother exposure-related projects. This position will also providetechnical support to other internal CTEH divisions, including internalprofessional development and growth of ASG supporting scientists. Thiscandidate must have a strong understanding of emergency response health& safety principles, practices, and be able to implement strategies toprotect workers during emergencies involving IH-focused hazards. Theprimary distinction between Senior and Project Exposure Scientists isthe amount of experience in a comparable capacity Incumbents enter theASG Growth Model at a level appropriate to their education, experience,certifications, and skills with the ability to gain vertical careergrowth through training, gained experience and prescribed benchmarks.The Project Exposure Scientist will be maintain readiness to supportclient needs for emergency response which may include frequent travel.This position reports to Principal/Senior Scientist of ASG.

Pay Range: \$73,400 - \$99,700 (commensurate with experience)

ACTIVITIES/TASKS/SCOPE OF WORK
Develop and implement strategies designed to reduce occupationalexposure during emergency response and other IH-focused hazards;On our client\'s behalf, prescribe, implement, and direct strategiesfor multi-employer site safety;Fill Assistant Safety Officer (ASOFR) and Deputy SOFR roles, both inUnified Command and Incident Command structure, thereby serving as aprimary technical representative to client and local, state, andfederal agency representatives;Initiate regional growth and maintain staff leadership to improvegeographic footprint;Revenue management of ASG projects and internal project growthgoals, annually;Project-based technical development and mentorship of rapidresponders, environmental scientists, and supporting scientistswithin ASG;Revenue management through direct client interaction andprescriptive solutions both in ER and non-ER projects;Participation in external training, content creation, litigation,and sophisticated hazard/exposure scenarios;Able to deliver professional presentations at notable conferencesand public forums;Participate in ASG research and publications;Business development both within ER and scopes of work outside ofER;Performs such other duties as assigned.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor\'s degree (minimum) in industrial hygiene or safety; or,Bachelor\'s degree in a related science field (chemistry, biology,physics, engineering, toxicology, etc.);Advanced computer skills in a Windows-based platformWorking towards eligibility to sit for Certified IndustrialHygienist (CIH) exam within first year of operation;Recommend 4-5 years of experience in industrial hygiene andemergency response projects;PROFESSIONAL SKILLS/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Preferred: Recognized Professional Certifications , such as CHMM, ASP,CSP;
Ability to obtain DISA clearance;
Ability to obtain TWIC clearance;
Current driver\'s license;
Ability to obtain a passport;
Completion of all job specific OSHA training
