About Project Engineer with AIS Infrastructure

  ABOUT

  The AIS Infrastructure Group consists of four civil/vertical construction companies. Our services include infrastructure improvement, heavy civil construction, vertical construction, site development for government and state agencies and private enterprise across the United States.

  GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY

  The Project Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise and support in the planning, design, and execution of construction and industrial services projects. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of AIS Infrastructure's infrastructure projects. The Project Engineer must possess a strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and project management. They are also required to adhere to AIS Infrastructure's safety standards and protocols.

  MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule.

  Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and assessments to evaluate project requirements and constraints.

  Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities, to ensure project requirements are met.

  Monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

  EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance to access secured facilities, including military bases.

  Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field. (Preferred)

  Proficiency in engineering design software and tools.

  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  Attention to detail and accuracy in work.

  Customer service and client management skills.

  Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects.

  Knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and project management.

  Familiarity with relevant software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Procore, P6 scheduling software and project management software.

  TRAVEL

  Travel to project sites and client meetings may be required.BENEFITS

  AIS Infrastructure is a wholly owned operating company of ASRC Industrial (AIS). AIS was founded in 2016 by Arctic Slope Regional Corporation (ASRC), an Alaska Native Corporation (ANC) established under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of 1971. As part of an ANC, AIS Infrastructure is a Minority Business Enterprise. Their AIS BCSS group is also a certified 8(a) business, offering further contracting advantages to government agencies.
