Job Description
We are seeking a Project Analyst who embraces challenges and is a motivated self-starter. This position will be an integral part of a diverse team of professionals and subject matter experts fulfilling challenging technical requirements for Naval Special Warfare (NSW) and Family of Special Operations Vehicles (FOSOV) customers. The project analyst will perform configuration management support of fielded systems, subsystems, and component hardware, software, and documentation including maintenance of configuration management plans. The project analyst roles and responsibilities shall include the maintenance and updating of physical and electronic configuration records, assist in the preparation, coordination, and review of Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), other configuration documentation, and support the submission of recommend changes to the project technical documentation. Perform R&D on appropriate database solutions and implements a replacement to ensure a ROI. Additionally, will support the tracking of ECP requests through the configuration control process.
Oversees and manages configuration management and serves as a liaison between project and sustainment managers. Enters and maintains multiple databases and identifies technical and business resources needed. Reviews status of software, hardware, firmware, modifications, and ECP installations projects, assists in managing schedules, and prepares analytical reports. Provides technical and analytical guidance to the project and sustainment teams. Assess options to create reliable, consistent, and accountable reports through continual process improvement through innovative solutions.
This position is located in San Diego, CA. There is no relocation assistance available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to San Diego, CA or surrounding areas.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of work experience or Associate Degree and at least 4 years of work experience
Ability to demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing at all levels within the company and within the customer community
Ability to create reporting on data metrics
Ability to initiate, prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficient with Microsoft Office, to include Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
Familiarity with scripting and querying with databases and Microsoft Office
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Familiarity with military and DoD customer organizations
Familiarity or experience with government data analytical systems
Amazon Web Services (AWS) - Cloud Services
Cloud Service and Resource Scheduling
SQL Database Certification
Cost Structure Tier for Cloud Services
Familiarity with offloading data and database migration
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $62260 - $105820
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
