Summary
The selected candidate will serve as the Program Personnel Security Specialist/Security Admin supporting special programs. This individual will ensure daily security compliance tasks are conducted IAW U.S. Government instructions and policy. The successful candidate will work closely with the Customer, the CPSO, Security Management, and assigned Program staff, to ensure all aspects of Special Program security needs are met.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing personnel security guidance to program personnel
Assuring compliance with applicable government and company regulations
Assisting with security indoctrinations and/or debriefings
Assisting with security reviews / self-inspections
Tracking and assisting with security education and awareness training, foreign travel reporting, and security incidents
Supporting other security disciplines unique to special access programs to include personnel security, physical security, cybersecurity, communication security (COMSEC), document control, and visitor control. Candidate must be able to respond to after-hours alarms as needed
Performing initial access eligibility determinations and generating PARs
Participating in Staff Assistance Visits and Customer Security Compliance Inspections and Assessments
Maintaining classified material accountability records to include inventory lists, receipt and transmittal records, and final disposition documentation
Serving as a program media custodian
Working knowledge of prime and subcontract DD 254s
Ensuring all classified materials are marked and controlled in accordance with contractual requirements
Responding to walk-in customers and performing ad hoc security services, as required
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and work experience is required
Experience with the requirements of DoDM 5205.07 V 1-4
DoD Secret Clearance eligibility with Investigation current within the last 5 years
Ability to obtain and maintain all Special Program accesses
Must be well organized, willing to work in a team environment, be able to prioritize taskings, and perform in a multi-tasked and dynamic environment
Strong customer service, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are a must
Willing to work extended hours, in a fast paced, deadline driven environment in a variety of program areas
Willing to travel on company business (approximately 10% or less)
Completion of SAP Orientation course
Working knowledge of JADE, DISS, and/or Scattered Castles
Ability to assist with basic COMSEC duties as needed, including inventory support
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite programs
Security Responsibilities
Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personnel Security Clearance.
Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
