What you'll do...
As part of the Global Technology Platform Program Management organization, this role will be a crucial enabler of our GTP strategy. This role will be accountable for developing and implementing industry standard program management processes and practices, adapting for the Walmart environment. You will partner with the Portfolio Management and Platform teams to introduce process optimizations to support the execution rhythm for product delivery. This will extend to defining PMO organizational KPIs and success metrics. You will also help drive the end to end software lifecycle from initiative intake through program delivery. Collaboration with cross functional program management, product management, and engineering teams is a must to ensure on time delivery with quality results.

The Global Technology Platform Program Management Team focuses on the execution of strategic initiatives in Global Technology Platform organization with alignment to Walmart Global Technology vision and direction. The team owns the execution rhythm to deliver high quality outcomes based on product roadmaps. The team also drives for organization transformation with Agile methodology.

You'll make an impact by:
Owning and driving stakeholder alignment for improvements to the quarterly planning process, monthly execution, KPI definition, executive updates, and agile practicesWorking across the organization and company to drive outcomes, aligning with business owners and stakeholders, mitigating risk, and delivering value to our internal and external customersLeading the management of program delivery risks, issues for team assessment, mitigation actions, stakeholder communication, or escalationLeveraging expert knowledge of JIRA and Confluence to deliver on execution reporting and dashboard optimizations. Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau is a plusDefine and execute plans for priority initiatives and product enhancement in an agile environmentRunning high-visibility, high-impact strategic programs
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of total work experience in a combination of technology development, program management, business analysis or strategyKnowledge and working experience in cloud and data technologies is a plus: container/Kubernetes, Platform as a Services, Big Data, Data Streaming, Non-Transitional Database and Transactional DatabaseWorking knowledge in product development concepts: DevOps Infrastructure, CI/CD Tools, Cloud platforms, Frameworks/Integrations, Accelerators and Best PracticesCapable of managing numerous stakeholders, anticipating their needs, and gaining alignment for strategies from executive level stakeholdersStrong communication skills (oral, verbal and listening) as well as the ability to influence key decision makers and understand their points of viewStrong leadership, negotiation and execution skills with the ability to drive results, deliver and excel, and own it when you don'tComfortable in a fast paced, growing environment and work well with ambiguityComfortable presenting to and persuading at Vice Presidential and Senior Vice-Presidential levelsProven ability to drive results, especially in a matrixed or influence based environment
