Summary About the Position: The employee works under the direct supervision of the Director, Management Support Directorate and general supervision of the Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff, G-9 (ADCS, G-9). Employee provides policy and administrative direction concerning overall priorities and objectives. Responsibilities Responsible for the control and technical operations of internal Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-9 (ODCS, G-9) Publication program, Records Management and its relationship to Army goals. Serve as program manager for the development, production, authentication, printing, and electronic dissemination of Army-wide publications and forms. Direct and coordinate operating elements to ensure publishing efficiencies and economies. Review required orders, plans, and related documents to include organizing, formatting, assuring accuracy and completeness of the final publications, to include the organizations monthly Newsletter. Provide courses of action needed regarding policies, budgets, office equipment and space utilization, or other actions that cross team lines and cannot be resolved at the team level. Develop, implement, and monitor a system of internal controls to ensure effective and efficient use of government resources and to safeguard against waste, loss, unauthorized use or misappropriation of resources.
