In the role of Program Director Iyou will be working in the Cancer Center. Purpose Work independentlyunder the direction of the Cancer Center Clinical Trials Office (CTO)Director to manage all aspects of the cancer center clinical researchoperations and coordinate activities, processes and procedures of thedisease team managers, their staff and clinical support positions. Serveas a catalyst for clinical research operational initiatives and ensurecompliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations. Providedirection and guidance to the CTO disease team managers and programcoordinators to facilitate the achievement of the program\'s goals. Workcollaboratively with our health partners to create and maintain astructure to provide an efficient and transparent process that allowsfor growth of the clinical research program into the future. PrimaryFunctions * Provide supervisory oversight, training and development ofclinical research managers and operational support staff in the CancerClinical Trials Office. * Assist Cancer Center CTO Director indeveloping and managing the clinical operations program budget andstrategic planning initiatives. * Act as resource for CTO disease teammanagers, faculty investigators and clinical partners in thedetermination of project feasibility, logistics and overalloperationalization. Review, approve and oversee study budgets,contracts, regulatory and administrative documents. Develop timelinesand negotiate deliverables to ensure a timely, on-budget study. * Actas a liaison to the investigators and partners by representing the CTOat clinical operational meetings. * Ensure compliance with regulatoryand institutional policies. * Develop and implement clinical operationspolicies, procedures, and organizational tools to ensure compliance withMCW, state and federal standards.
