  Your day-to-day work will include:

  The Senior Program Analyst will support the NASA Space Launch System (SLS) program at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) and various Elements within the SLS Program.

  Deliver end-of-month plan versus actual charts for Monthly and Quarterly Reporting Requirements.

  Collect, validate, upload, report, and deliver end-of-month support contractor WYE actuals.

  Expert knowledge of Oracle database function and maintain necessary tables used to generate required monthly reporting.

  Provide data mining, reporting, and analysis for prior month cost estimate, and current month contractor WYEs from the NF533 reports.

  Provide technical assistance in identifying and evaluating business tool systems and procedures, which are cost-effective and meet user requirements, and provide recommended improvements to the SLS business processes.

  Analyze and provide monthly cost and mapping for EVM in-house cost data.

  Serve as SharePoint Administrator and coordinate access control, maintain business files, to include creation folders and pages.

  Perform annual reviews for all business applications to fulfill Information System Security Authorization (ISSA) requirements.

  Perform SLS business application system testing.

  Schedule business tool downtime activities with customers to reduce workload impacts.

  Conform to all MSFC Software Engineering Framework (SEF) practices and requirements including Hailstorm scanning & vulnerability assessment and response, Section 508 Compliance and MSFC Operation Readiness Review (MORR).

  Provide technical assistance in identifying and evaluating business tool systems and procedures, which are cost-effective and meet user requirements.

  Serve as a mentor to develop other program analysts and serve as a back-up to each other.

  Experience Requirements:

  NASA experience preferred.

  Minimum 20 years of experience (15 yrs in direct Aerospace/Research and Development).

  Senior program analyst, with in-depth and prior knowledge of the SLS PP&C reporting processes and the Agency software portfolio.

  Expert knowledge of the SLS business processes and Agency software portfolio.

  Familiar with Alteryx and Power BI and can lead a business and reporting process improvement for the SLS PP&C Office.

  Advanced user of Microsoft Office tools, including Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.

  Experience using software like Empower/wInisght, Cobra, SharePoint, and Excel are highly desired.

  Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other related certifications desirable.

  Membership with the Project Management Institute (PMI) and/or the College of Performance Management (CPM) a plus.

  ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  Work Environment- Generally an office environment but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.

  Physical Requirements- Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 10 lbs. (5% of time).

  Equipment and Machines- Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).

  Attendance- Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.

  Other Essential Functions- Must be able to work in a team atmosphere. Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.

  Work hours:

  Here at Aeyon we believe in creating an environment that fosters a healthy work/ life balance. The typical day consists of a 9-5 Monday-Friday work schedule totaling 40 hours per week, but we do realize that life happens, and things come up. Many of our positions allow some flexibility in the work schedule for unforeseen events so that our employees can maintain a 40-hour work week and still have the opportunity to meet other obligations during the workday.

  Security Clearance:

  For most positions at Aeyon, a candidate must have or be able to obtain a company sponsored security clearance. A security clearance is like a background check. It is required for individuals who are hired for US government jobs or any organization that handles information pertaining to national security. The security clearance process ensures your ability to securely access, manage, and protect classified information. Although the security clearance process involves several stages, the key steps to obtaining and maintaining a security clearance are pre-investigation, investigation, adjudication, and reinvestigation.
