We are looking for a Prof Education director who will manage team and activities in professional education to ensure the organization of first-in-class educational programs leading to optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish Edwards SURGICAL as a preferred educational partner to HCPs, societies and education bodies.Manage and oversee the work of Professional Education team in various domains including:Insight mining and educational advisory board management to ensure adequate understanding of customer training needs across the region.Annual Prof. Ed. strategic and tactical plan development (HCP/customer training) up to organizational needs, risk management plan and budget requirements.Presentation to upper management and peersTactical plan flawless execution with systematic feedback loop and careful monitoring of resourcesAll the above activities are performed in coordination with the rest of the Medical affairs team and with strong alignment to surgical strategy and positioning as determined by marketingResponsible for the organization, coordination, promotion, speakers briefing & VAULT approval, plus tracking of Professional Education activities at regional and country levels. Ensure team is building efficient analytical method and tools to measure impact of programs on surgical practices and lead the implementation of solutions whereas needed.Define high level KOL strategy for Edwards surgical Europe in close collaboration with other key stakeholders from MAPE, Public Affairs, Sales and Marketing. Ensure the Prof Ed team is at the forefront of KOL identification and management and this in an approach that is fulfilling company vision for equity and diversity Lead the digital educational transformation by implementing roadmap and developing top-notch educational digital platform & app to successfully educate a broader audience of HCPs.Ensure the team developed and use the required range of digital tracking tools. Stick to all compliance process when it comes to digital channels and in particular GDPR Successfully endorse and develop the indirect sponsorship process in line with internal compliance guidance and EUCOMED recommendations.Ensure regular reporting to management and communication towards PCOs and HCOs as per needs Develop a robust talent development plan in alignment with functional growth strategies of the department.Be an active and leading member of MAPE European core team and global extended team, and work in close collaboration with other relevant stakeholders to promote and disseminate MAPE and Prof. Ed. role and activities. In particular, as other MAPE team members, the director of Prof. Ed. should be seen as a role model when it comes to non commercial interactions between HCPs and the company Participate in meetings, seminars, congresses and training sessions to acquire the latest clinical information useful to customers and team members and integrates new information into professional education strategy and tactics.
Education and Experience:
Advanced scientific degree (Masters or PhD) preferred completed by an MBA or another degree in managementGood understanding of the cardiovascular domain and established ability to interact with all kind of HCPs up to international KOLsProven successful project management skillsDemonstrated track record in people managementDemonstrated ability to manage cross-function international team and provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for all employee actions including hire/fire authority and partnering with HR on all aspects of employee relation
