Summary: This position requires performing in a fast paced environment functioning as a liaison with all departments and assisting drivers & customers.
Shift: This position will be in office Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the main phone line. Answers phone, understands need, and routes calls, helps customers/drivers learn direct phone numbers (average 250-350 calls per day).
Run, organize, and distribute weekly and monthly Operations reports (Rate my Load, Driver Pay Report, Special Fleet Tracking Report).
Assist the Operations leadership team in preparing presentations.
Provide administrative support to Vice President of Operations.
Assist in coordinating office events and celebrations.
Provide additional support with special projects and other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience: high school diploma and minimum 2 years customer service experience.
Special Training: Needs to be familiar with Microsoft Office (mainly Word and Excel) Preferably experienced in AS400.
Special Skills: Must be able to communicate clearly, handle stressful situations, and pay close attention to detail. Must also be able to work and perform as a team player.
Physical Demands: It is necessary to talk, hear, sit, write, type. It is occasionally necessary to lift up to 25 lbs.
