JOB REQUIREMENTS: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include thefollowing: - Leads a night shift team of direct labor associates focusedon meeting quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness requirements -Train and coach operators in conjunction with team leads - Reviews dailyplant operating performance and advise on changes in working conditionsthat will improve efficiencies/quality - Troubleshoots/analysesoperational problems and advises resolution - Coach performance issuesand improve operational understanding/capability - Prioritizesproduction schedules based on product introduction, direct labor pool,equipment efficiency, and materials supply to meet customerrequirements - Initiates timelines and adherence measurements to projectgoals; building and driving teamwork across functional areas - Ensurescompliance and safety of OSHA and company standards - Providesintervention and progressive discipline with the guidance of HR and thesenior leadership team - Initiates and participates in processdevelopment and cost improvement projects - Other duties as assignedExpectations: - Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educatingand directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, andresources, maintaining compliance with established policies andprocedures - Always wear personal protection equipment (PPE), propersafety eyewear, steel-toed shoes, hearing protection - Report all safetyconcerns and accidents to the Plant Manager and HR first aidrepresentative immediately, no matter how minor - Inspect the work areaat the start of your shift and during your shift to see that requiredsafety equipment is in place and operational - Understand and follow thesafety rules, policies, and procedures for each area and equipment -Understand Lockout/Tagout out procedures - Understand and follow theproper procedure for handling any chemicals in the area and hazardousmaterials - Help drive continuous improvement through team involvementand engagement - Interpret data, enter data collection items, andprovide accurate feedback - Act as principal interface between theoperation team and the maintenance function ***** OTHER EXPERIENCEAND QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent required;Associates degree preferred 5+ years manufacturing experience 2+ yearssupervisory experience (in a union environment preferred) 2+ years ofworkforce planning and process management experience (required)Manufacturing: 5 years (Preferred) Supervisory: 2 years (Required) Basicknowledge of Lean and Kaizen Able to routinely lift items of 40 lbs Ableto tolerate changes in environmental temperatures Able to climb on rungand step-type ladders Crawling in and out of workstations that are notconsidered confined or enclosed spaces Must be able to read computerscreens for extended period ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: ApplyOnline: https://www.rsabeecompany.com E-Mail a Rsum:[email protected]
