Your key responsibilities

Prepare /maintain Shift report, down time report, in process QC report, Daily production report and any other reports required by Production Manager.

RM/intermediate Product/FG/PM (Fresh Used/recycle) and available resources management in shift.

Responsible for ensuring minimal deviation from process and quality parameters.

Oversee and supervise line operators to ensure adherence to the work plan for achievement of shift production targets

Develops good working relationships, to continue to improve overall production processes and develop a good team in his shift. Provide backup support in absence of Production Manager. Support Plant Manager in troubleshooting in problems.

Identify areas for improvement in process, equipment automation and training.

Coordinate with maintenance to ensure availability of reactors/distillation columns/equipment and smooth operations during the shift.

Completes safety checks and safety observations regularly. To promote safety awareness, quality punctuality.

To handle abnormal situation in plant and communication to Production Manager/Seniors.

Ensures updating production report, manpower scheduling, daily equipment scheduling, conflict resolutions.

Drive Safe start program at shop floor.

Reporting of incident, behavioural observations (BOS), unsafe conditions or any abnormality in IMS.

Ensure adherence to SOPs as well as HSE norms and guidelines at the shop floor.

To coordinate with maintenance department for all maintenance activity.

You bring.

Candidate should have minimum Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) degree.Experience should be between 7 to 10 years in chemical industry. Knowledge of SAP and PI database preferred.

Sound knowledge of operations of a chemical plant including operating knowledge of HSE. Good command over English language will be considered a positive.

Should be able to collaborate with seniors, peers and subordinates

Should be able to lead shift team

Should be able to work as a member of the team as well as be able to lead his own shift team
