Job Summary: Directs the development andimplementation of activities in production area(s) to meet productiongoals, quality, and cost objectives. will be responsible for providingimmediate supervision to a team of approximately 50 employees on 2ndshift. Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction,equipment efficiency, and materials supply. Plans and administersprocedures and budgets. Makes budgetary recommendations regarding and,at higher levels, controls capital expenditures and direct/indirectlabor. Develops schedules and personnel requirements for assigned areas.Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficientoperation of the function. Responsibilities and Essential Functions:This position is responsible for directing the development andimplementation of production goals in safety, quality, customerdelivery, and financial improvement. Developing capacity plans andoutput forecasts based upon complex customer demand trends and variablelabor content per production order is critical to the role. Developingand executing resource planning in a high product mix, highly flexibleand customized manufacturing process while selecting, developing, andevaluating personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the productionteam is required.
