Position Summary: Provides leadership and direction for line leaders andcell of workers in a value stream. Assists value stream management inmeeting safety, quality, and productivity goals. Supervises the flow ofproduct through the department while enforcing Jeffco\'s standards andoperational priorities. Responsibilities: \ Leads line leaders andfrontline workers in a value stream, to ensure the team meets or exceedsall standards related to safety, quality, productivity, 5S, maintenanceand company values. \ Responsible for carrying out daily schedule setforth by value stream management, assigning staff as needed to meetdaily production goals, ensuring on time production starts/ \ Preparesand submits end of shift reports. \ Communicates key direction andfeedback from Supervisors and Managers to leads and frontline workers.Leads Tier 1 meetings with line leaders and employees in their area ofresponsibility. \ Has a comprehensive knowledge of, and is trained toperform, all jobs in the department. \ Facilitates and delivers linelead and employee training on jobs within the department. \ Mentors andcoaches line leaders on supervisory skills and in handling workplacesituations. \ Quickly escalates issues and provides status updates todepartment management. \ Driver of continuous improvement with thefrontline employees, working with team to find 1% improvement; inspiresteam to deliver on results. Experience & Skills Required: \ 5+ yearsSupervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or distributionenvironment. \ Strong communication skills and attention to detail. \Proficient in English; bilingual Spanish/English a plus, but notrequired. \ Exceptional attendance and reliability, works overtime whenrequired. \ Ability to learn new processes quickly, think on their feetand adapt. \ Ability to remain in a stationary position, as well asmove around, for long periods of time. \ Ability to move and transportup to 50 lbs repeatedly during shift. \ Basic mathematics and readingskills.
