Reports To: Business Operations ManagerSummaryThe main responsibility of the planner is to maintain the planner task list and plan orders that come through the system for their assigned customer service reps.
Primary Responsibilities and DutiesDaily PTL maintenanceSales order planningExecuting tasks within the current turnaround timeline.Lead time requests to DK and US mold shop.Pulling drawings and requesting drawings to engineering.Purchase orders to DK, and or mold orders to US mold shop.Customization ordersAssembly ordersHandling order questions with CSR and our engineering and quality.Saving drawings for CO's and assembly.Confirming orders based on lead time chart.Attend meetings as requested.Handling order changes and cancellations.Communication with the assigned CSR accounts keeping them updated on status changes on orders and requests.MRP daily maintenanceCAPA follow up as needed.Daily audit packs as required.Intercompany communicationLate order and order issue follow through.End of shift reportsOther duties as assigned.Knowledge and Skill RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GEDBA Degree or experience in modular belting preferred.Excellent communication skillsComputer skills (MS Word, Excel, Power Point) ABW or ERP skillsStrong organizational skillsDevelop understanding of all elements of our products through ongoing training processOver time flexibilityMust be able to work in the US.CompetenciesTechnical CapacityEthical conductCommunication ProficiencyPersonal Effectiveness/CredibilityDetail orientedWorks well within a Team environmentEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with all departments.Ability to articulate plans with ease.Ability to perform duties timely and creatively.Write in a clear and concise manner.Able to express oneself clearly and concisely in oral and email communications.Ability to keep functioning effectively when under pressure.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential job functions of this job.
