The production environment is operational 24/7 so the technician is responsible to maintain, repair, disassemble and troubleshoot complex equipment in charge of production processes. There is high speed automated production machinery, and other manufacturing equipment.Responsibilities:Provide Support to production lines by troubleshooting failures and other issues and making necessary repairs to production and facility equipment to maximize efficienciesComplete all assigned work orders and preventative maintenance tasks through SAPParticipate in rebuilds and overhauls on production line and support equipmentAssist with parts management by ensuring parts are checked out of stock and communicating any deficiencies to the Parts PlannerProvide consistent communication with fellow maintenance staff through End of Shift reportsSupport the Swire Manufacturing Continuous Improvement (SMCI) process by participating in established routines with production operators and following up on top causes of downtimeMaintain a clean and organized workspaceFollow established safety, quality and environmental policies, practices, and programsOperate with technical skill the SAP Computerized Maintenance Management system. This is for inventory and production line operational excellenceClean tools, parts and equipment after line rebuilds/repairs/maintenanceInstall new equipment as necessary and provide technical expertise to train and support production with a continued desire for lean supply chain process initiatives and improvementOperate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as neededQuality reviews of equipment assigned to maintain safety and performance standardsRequirements:High School diploma or equivalent degree/certificateTrade School certified preferred2+ years of maintenance experienceExcellent mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsAbility to read schematicsWelding and Fabrication experienceExperience working with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC systems.Ability to learn new software and interfaces quickly. Strong computer skillsAbility to stay on task and meet goals and deadlines with minimal supervisionMust be able to learn and fully operate assigned production equipment; a variety of skills neededCarpentry, Electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning), Plumbing, Welding, Fabrication, docks and doors, security systemsProduction Facilityrepairs as assignedKnowledge of manufacturing, production operators, and industrial technology preferredAbility to perform essential functions with little or no supervisionAbility to work weekends and holidays as directed by the businessAbility to lift 50 poundsBase pay range is $18.79 to $28.90 plus bonus structure (dependent on role).
