*Pay: *$20.00 - 27.00 per hour, depending on experience
Swing Shift Differential: Additional $1.00/ hour. Increases over time, up to a maximum of $3.00 /hour.

Job Summary
Set up and operate production machines, CNC and/or manual, in order to produce parts that meet specifications for finished products or downstream manufacturing processes.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Setup and operate production machines, CNC and/or manual, in accordance with documented proceduresIdentify product/process improvements and participate with co-workers to implement these improvementsOperate machines using best and safe practicesMust produce parts within required tolerancesFunction as a team member and support other teamsWillingness to cross train on other machines as requiredFollow documented processesMaintain a high degree of qualityMaintain required and accurate paperworkHousekeeping/maintenance of work area and machineryIn order to achieve business objectives, work weeks in excess of 40 hours may be requiredAbide by company policiesOther duties as assignedRequirements:
High School diploma or GEDMinimum of five (5) years experience operating production machines in a manufacturing environmentMay substitute two (2) years experience for accredited trade or vocational machining certificateMay substitute three (3) years experience for an Associate of Arts Degree in Machining TechnologyAbility to interpret mechanical drawings for proper applications of tolerances, fit, and process controlExperience in the setup and operation of multiple types of production machineryFamiliar with maintenance of production machineryExperience/training in the proper use of precision measuring instruments such as calipers or micrometersWorking Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to moving mechanical parts, machinery and equipment, and vibration. The employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. While performing some job duties, there is a risk of electrical shock and other risks associated with a manufacturing environment. Job duties may require work in high, precarious places, work in outside weather conditions, and exposure to extreme temperatures in some cases. The noise level in the working environment is often loud. Because of this environment and associated risks, use of job appropriate personal protective equipment and clothing is required.
