Summary:
The Production Laborers will be responsible for stripping and re-setting concrete forms, pouring new concrete, and working within various departments to meet production needs. This role involves working with large concrete forms, typically 3ft x 3ft or larger, in a team setting. Cross-training across different departments will be provided to ensure the best fit for each employee's skills and interests.
Main Job Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently produce precast concrete products
Strip and clean concrete forms and products
Prepare steel molds for filling with concrete
Perform basic carpentry skills
Facility maintenance and housekeeping
Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
Skills & Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in construction, concrete or carpentry
Strong work ethic
Basic math skills
Ability to read/ write simple instructions
Ability to lift up to 40lbs periodically throughout the shift
Ability to perform physical labor
Ability to work overtime
Must be willing to work outside and/or inside
Shift: Monday to Friday 5am-1:30 or 2:30PM, with typically 5 -10 hours of OVERTIME
Work Environment:
This is an industrial, dirty, and loud environment. The role will be within a manufacturing building that is open to the elements and operates in all seasons. Safety is a top priority, and all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided.
