　　About the Role

　　• Functions as a shop assistant learning manufacturing and prototype concepts.

　　• Provides housekeeping duties as needed.

　　Your Responsibilities

　　• Operates machines as qualified

　　• Lifts, positions, and removes work pieces from machines to assist in fitting and welding.

　　• Loads, stacks, and transports stock, tools, dies, and work in process by hand or truck.

　　• Cleans and scrapes metal preparatory to fabricating, welding, painting, or shipping.

　　• Picks up scrap from work areas.

　　• Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.

　　• Loads and unloads production machinery per posted instructions.

　　• Makes visual safety inspections at start of shift and records on appropriate checklist.

　　• Reports any abnormality of parts or machinery to the Supervisor or Lead hand.

　　• Changes to other machines or jobs as requested by the Supervisor or Lead hand.

　　• Any other reasonable requests made by the Supervisor or Management.

　　Who we are looking for

　　• Some related experience preferred

　　• Highly motivated to work, learn, and teach.

　　Your preferred qualifications

　　• High School Diploma

　　• Currently Attending a College or University

　　• Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

　　• Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)

　　• Strong technical and analytical competence in select areas of technology.

　　• Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.
