Kforce has a client in Bethpage, NY that is seeking a Product Repair Technician who will play a crucial role in maintaining the functionality of our mobile ticketing devices. The ideal candidate will possess strategic thinking, strong technical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Collaborate with the technical support team to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Physically repairing devices, conducting quality tests, performing diagnostic review, packaging, and shipping units to clients on time
Performing frequent software updates to ensure minimal risk of compatibility failures
Provide excellent customer service and serve as a technical resource for customer support
Maintain accurate records of repairs, tests and updates
Other duties may be assigned
High School diploma/GED or equivalent required
0 to 2 years of experience in a trouble shooting role
0 to 2 years of customer service experience
Ability to perform in-depth troubleshooting of proprietary software and hardware for Janam Technologies according to established procedures
Must be a self-starter
Strong work ethic - punctuality and team interaction are critical
Ability to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment with fine repetitive hand motor activity
Must be able to remain in a stationary position about 90% of the time
Experience with motherboard, LCD screen and mobile device repair/replacement is a plus
Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
