How will you make an impact?
The Reproductive Health (RH) team is committed to advancing solutions around the world to ultimately improve the reproductive health continuum from preconception, to assisted pregnancy, prenatal testing and newborn and post-natal diagnosis. The RH products use next-generation sequencing (NGS) platforms to provide complete solutions for meeting the unmet needs of RH customers. The Product Manager for RH will serve as the product champion and be responsible for the product introduction, training, support and life cycle management for Carrier Screening related products. This person will develop cases and own all product management responsibilities for a growing portfolio of products
Location: Onsite at Carlsbad, CA or South San Francisco, CA
What will you do?
Lead analysis of global market trends, customer requirements, and competitive strategy. Identify new growth opportunities for increasing customer and business value through product differentiation
Guide new product development including Voice-of-Customer research, defining critical customer and product requirements with prioritized features and corresponding business and financial justification with return on investment
Create and communicate global launch plans including market segmentation, value proposition, commercialization strategy, regulatory strategy, reimbursement approach, competitive analysis, forecasting, pricing, and positioning. Cross collaborate with a strong group of R&D and commercial leaders to complete product launch plans
Lead partnership with cross-functional teams to develop the right product to fill market needs and serve as the customer advocate interacting w/ functional leaders including R&D, Business Development, Project Management, Manufacturing, Finance, Customer Services, Quality and Regulatory
Independently develop and deliver product training programs for internal and external customers (Technical Support, Field Application Specialists, Direct Sales & Distributors, Order Desk, etc.)
Develop long-term strategy and product pipeline portfolio management with senior leadership and aligned with business strategy
How will you get here?
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a life science field required.
Master's or Ph.D. degree a plus.
Experience
3+ years of product marketing in Life Sciences, or Genomics
Experience in defining product requirements and working with cross-functional teams to ensure the development of products based on business requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Shown success in new product development and commercialization of Genomics reagents and consumables.
Standout colleague who is prepared to focus and commit to accomplish critical objectives and therefore drive business and financial outcomes.
Knowledge of Genomics reagents and consumables and their usage and applications in NGS based assays is preferred.
Excellent writing, positioning, messaging, content and collateral development skills.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $113,500.00–$155,000.00.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
