The Role

　　ONYX's Advanced Sensing Hardware offering has seen significant success over the last few years. Our R&D team are constantly innovating and developing new products to take to market & we are now looking for someone to lead the way and take us to the next level.

　　At ONYX the Product Manager role has a heavy commercial focus therefore this role may also be suited to someone who has a technical sales or account management background.

　　The successful candidate will be well versed in tracking product performance and happy to roll their sleeves up and respond if that performance deviates from the forecasted sales plan.

　　Aside from this you will own the Product roadmap, seek to understand & identify our target markets, collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure we have a slick go to market strategy.

　　Key Responsibilities:

　　Understand the market. Identify target markets, market sizes and customer types. Attend events and talk to customers regularly.

　　Own the product roadmaps. Work with the Advanced Sensing Development and Supply Chain teams to agree product specifications and release timescales.

　　Establish the internal business cases for new developments. Present business cases to the CEO and management team and gain buy-in.

　　Work with the Marketing team to create material to promote Advanced Sensing products. Work collaboratively to deliver content including website content, advertising, conference presentations, etc.

　　Create and own internal sales collateral – e.g. price lists; template proposals; sales presentations; etc.

　　Ideally you'll have:

　　Experience of working in a B2B sales and marketing environment as a Product Manager, Business Development Manager or Account Manager.

　　A degree qualification in a relevant technical discipline – e.g, Engineering, Physics or Computer Science.

　　Confident in promoting or selling technical products or services.

　　Outstanding initiative and creativity with the resourcefulness to execute plans independently.

　　The motivation & self-drive to achieve commercially focussed targets.
