Key Responsibilities: As a Product Manager for Cloud Applications and Enterprise Licensing, you will:
Lead the strategic direction of our software licensing and SaaS initiatives.
Drive the development, enhancement, and effective management of our cloud-based services and software licensing models.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of our product roadmap.
Engage in large-scale, intricate IT projects to support the university's mission and enhance the technology landscape for our users.
Key Duties:
Participate in the strategic planning and execution for the CAEL product portfolio, aligning with leadership’s goals and objectives.
Deliver ongoing administration and support of UVA’s enterprise software licensing.
Develop an in-depth understanding of software licensing models and industry best practices to optimize licensing strategies.
Collaborate with technical teams to translate product requirements into actionable specifications.
Oversee the complete product lifecycle, from concept development to launch and ongoing monitoring.
Engage with departments and stakeholders to create compelling value propositions, knowledge base materials, and communication plans.
Utilize data-driven insights to monitor product performance and user engagement, making informed decisions for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience in a related field
Working knowledge of vendor management, software license management, and IT service management.
Ability to provide complex IT support and communicate at the appropriate technical level.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Fundamental skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience planning and directing projects.
ITILv4 Foundations and additional Intermediate ITIL certifications.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office 365 ecosystem.
Working knowledge of business case development, user support models, and process development.
Skills in the art of successful negotiation and mediation.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Salary range $80,000 - $85,000/ annual based on skills and experience
