The role of the Product Manager is to guide thestrategic development and execution of the Wilbur Ellis' AgVerdict platform.This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams as the subject matterexpert to build agronomist-centric solutions to support growers with agronomicrecommendations. Additionally, the Product Manager will partner with thoseteams to support and enable AgVerdict GTM and Customer Success strategies.The role will involve strategic planning, product development, marketanalysis, product roadmap development, and customer training/success.Key Skills and Abilities Include:A bachelor's degree or higher, in Business, Computer Science, or arelevant field of study5+ years' experience in product management, preferably in a digitalenvironmentUnderstanding of Ag industry crops, technologies, and practices,including extensive plant nutrition market knowledge is a plusManagement of the product lifecycle from strategic planning to tacticalactivitiesExperience with Scrum and Agile for Enterprise methodologies is desiredIdentifying and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for productsExperience collaborating with software development as a business partner toimplement a business and IT strategy process that aligns digital prioritieswith business prioritiesKey Personal Attributes Include:Proven leadership capability, with the ability to build relationships,mentor, and inspire cross-functional team members through influence.Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skillsStrong organization, prioritization, and time management skillsAdvanced knowledge, critical thinking, and strong analytical andproblem-solving skills to achieve goalsAbility to remain detail-oriented with a wide range of responsibilitiesSpecific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:Lead product conceptualization, development, & growth to support useradoption and customer success strategiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define roadmaps and develop bestpractices and techniques for planning, execution, milestone/deliverabletracking, and key performance metricsLeverage user-driven research & analytics while monitoring industry trendsto make decisions on features, opportunities, and strategies to drive useradoption and efficiencyIdentify and execute opportunities for Wilbur Ellis colleagues to leverageAgVerdict to enhance customer experience, deliver differentiated insights orservices, and expand our customer baseOversee the product lifecycle, from initial concept to end-of-life whileensuring alignment of business objectives with developmentMonitor new technologies and competitors to assess potential partnerships andproduct or service opportunitiesDeliver the operating budget and align resources to achieve key businesspriorities and objectivesDefine and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate productsuccess and inform future developmentEngage with users to gather feedback and incorporate it into productdevelopment - including developing feedback mechanisms that will be used toimprove solutionsEffectively communicate the Wilbur-Ellis AgVerdict strategy and platform valuepropositions with internal and external stakeholdersCompensation:In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, thebase compensation for this position ranges from $116,500 to $163,000.Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience.
