　　Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a Product Development Scientist to join our R&D team and contribute to the development of our product pipeline.

　　If you are passionate about science and helping scientists around the world accelerate the development of life-saving medicines, we are looking for an enthusiastic, inspired, skilled individual to join our multi-disciplinary team.

　　Key Responsibilities:

　　Works directly with the Technical Product Manager, Biologics and CellAi R&D team, reporting to the Head of Science, to support the design and execution of experiments to achieve specific product development and validation related goals;

　　Develop a detailed understanding of the company’s CellAi technology platform, key applications, and target market;

　　Manages and executes all experimental campaigns associated with the Cell Ai technology platform;

　　Ensures the quality and timely delivery of all data supporting the Technical Product Manager and R&D team to achieve CellAi product development goals;

　　Troubleshoots assays/instruments for product and method development;

　　Trains others in the use of in-house technologies as appropriate;

　　Supports the Technical Product Manager with customer demonstrations, on-boarding and training;

　　Maintains accurate and contemporaneous recording of all experiments;

　　Promote solutions through participation in technical conferences, trade shows, publications, seminars, and symposiums;

　　Keep up to date with the scientific community and track major technical/application trends to support improvements in product positioning, selling strategies, and product/workflow development.

　　Present at internal company meetings;

　　Qualification Required:

　　MSc or equivalent degree in Biotechnology/Analytical instrumentation, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other related discipline (essential) with at least 2-years hands-on experience working with microscopy techniques and mammalian cells (essential).

　　PhD or equivalent degree in Biotechnology/Analytical instrumentation, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other related discipline (essential) with at least 1-years hands-on experience in Biotech/Pharma industry (desirable but not essential).

　　Skills Required:

　　Strong research experience in Cell Biology, confocal microscopy (essential), CHO cell culture (essential) and molecular biology;

　　Strong research experience in cell biology and molecular biology;

　　Strong hands-on experience in microscopy and cell imaging systems is essential and ideally advanced experience in imaging CHO cells;

　　It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

　　At least 2-years hands-on experience in Biotech/Pharma industry;

　　Hands-on experience in plate-based assay execution and development is essential and ideally advanced knowledge of and practical experience in fluorescence-based assays;

　　Strong track record and hands-on experience in technology development;

　　Practical experience working in interdisciplinary teams.

　　Personal Qualities:

　　Organised, self-motivated, with keen attention to detail;

　　Good communicator with written and verbal communication skills;

　　Engaging and comfortable interacting with customers and co-workers;

　　Self-confident and able to remain calm under pressure;
