What you'll do...
Design and release responsibilities for all automatic transmission families clutch components and assemblies
P.D. SPOC relating to shortage related workstreams for all components of the clutch modules
Support transmission systems in the resolution of high mileage, warranty, and plant issues as related to clutch components/assemblies
Specific reference to reducing warranty spend for current and past models
Lead the Component Program Module Team (CPMT) for clutch assemblies and report program status to transmission systems departments
Develop and maintain FMEA's and DVP&R's
Interface with suppliers in support of all SREA’s
Support Peer Reviews for other component commodities not only for ICE but Hybrid and BEV applications as well
As a Clutch Design and Release Engineer you will design and release responsibilities for all automatic transmission families clutch components and assemblies.
BS in Mechanical Engineering
Background in automatic transmission function and product design experience preferred
Prior clutch design experience preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Highly motivated, self-starter, passionate about delivering high quality components
