　　Authoring business requirements for functionality to be delivered as part of the TriZetto product portfolio. Collaborating with other stakeholders to create the high-level designs and the detailed functional design artifacts that will be used to develop TriZetto products and solutions. Serving as a subject matter expert in all areas of the software development life cycle (i.e., software engineering, quality assurance, and technical communications), assists customer support, sales and consulting/implementation services.

　　Role: Individual Contributor External Facing Role

　　Essential Functions:

　　* Analyzing and translating business and user requirements into high level designs and functional specifications which could include design of new or changed processing, data requirements, user interfaces, and/or database design.

　　* Identifying and sometimes creating alternative solutions to solve business needs and articulating the pros and cons of the various approaches.

　　* Participating in internal and customer meetings to clarify requirements, formulate design approaches and confirm they meet the business needs.

　　* Leading the collaboration with other product design teams to ensure that integration and interfaces between our products are an integral part of our planning and design process.

　　* Leading design discussions with System/Software Engineers and QA Analysts.

　　* Mentoring intermediate and associate level design team members.

　　Qualifications:

　　Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree.

　　Required Experience:

　　Minimum of four years' related experience in a software development environment.

　　Desired Experience:

　　* Experience in facilitation, negotiation, and influencing preferred.

　　* Healthcare (Health Plan) industry experience preferred.

　　Behavioral Competencies:

　　* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management.

　　* Strong presentation skills with the ability to present to all levels of management.

　　Technical Competencies:

　　* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

　　* Good to excellent facilitation, negotiation, influencing and problem solving skills.
