Job Description:
Our recruiting staff is searching for a process technician to join a well-established company in the plastic injection industry. Preferably searching for experienced process techs (around 3 years).
Job Description:
3rd shift Process Technician opening, shift starts Sunday night
Responsible for adjusting machines to avoid burns, splays, discolorations, shorts on plastic extrusion equipment
Troubleshoot the machine to adjust temperatures, material flow, adjust cycle times
Understand what temperatures are needed as well as amount of material
Responsible for pulling and resetting mold halves, specifically for mold repair
Repair any fluid or air leaks of the mold
You'll work in 2 man teams; there are 4 per shift.
Pay Rate/Shift:
$47,000 - $59,000
Will work 8-9 hour shifts, 5-6 days/week on average; working occasional 5 or 7 days/week.
3rd Shift: 10:15 to 6:45am
Shift starts sunday night
Must Have Qualifications:
3 year Plastic Injection Processing experience
Ability to work up to 5-6 days/week
Crane and Hilo experience
1st piece troubleshooting experience (burn, splay, short, and discoloration)
3 years experience troubleshooting plastic machines
Ability to complete simple math
