　　Glass identification and material handlingPrepare, set-up, and tear down a variety of machines to cut, edge, saw, drill or grind glass or similar materialsAdjust and operate machinery use to cut, edge, saw, drill, or grind glass or similar materialsInspection of productProper recording of work performedRead blueprintsSimultaneous operation of one or more machines and/or performance of other work assignmentsPerform preventative maintenance on machinesLoading and unloading machinesAccountability for inventory and location of all items shipped to and from Special Components departmentMust demonstrate physical and mental tenacity in the hand grinding and polishing of complicated formsMaintain accuracy, efficient work while upholding quality controlMaintain orderliness and cleanliness within work areasImplement 5S plus safety principles within work areas

　　High school diploma or GED requiredMust have previous CNC experience within a manufacturing environmentMust be capable of lifting 50 lbsAbility to operate overhead craneAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, measurements, area, circumference and volumeAbility to to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometryAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, customer drawings, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceAbility to speak effectively to all levels of management and employees
