The Process Improvement Leader will plan and manage process improvement initiatives to improve business processes and service we provide to our members. Successful candidate will enable Connexus Energy to improve both internal and external business processes and service.

Key Responsibilities & Results:
Lead process improvement initiatives in partnership with functional owners.
Plan, schedule and manage business area process improvement projects applying best-practice problem solving techniques
Work with business leaders to identify and prioritize targeted areas of opportunity for improving processes and business performance
Lead process improvement corporate scorecard team
Develops metrics and methodologies to provide data for process result measurements.
Manage the central project log to ensure all process improvement related projects follow standards, and work with leadership to analyze resource loads.
Coordinate with IT Project Manager to communicate project statuses and progress as appropriate parties
Performs cost and benefit analyses.
Serves as a change agent, challenging organizational leaders to drive continuous improvements.
Provide guidance and leadership to process documentation initiative.
Support organizational process documentation efforts
Assist in the development of and evolution of process documentation tools and procedures.
Provide formal and informal Project Management and Process Improvement training to employees and leaders on continuous improvement tools.
Development of course content, teaching tools & material
Educate in formal, informal, group, or individual settings
Ongoing mentorship, evaluation, and recognition of trainees
Required Talents, Skills, Expertise, Education:
Bachelor’s degree in related field
Three or more years of experience leading process improvement projects, ideally in both office and manufacturing (or construction) environments
Formal training in project management concepts, practices, and tools
Knowledge and experience with quality concepts and tools such as value stream mapping, business process re-design, kaizen, continuous improvement, lean thinking, 5S, etc.
Preferred Talents, Skills, Expertise, Education:
PMI certification
Lean Six Sigma certification (e.g., green belt, black belt, master black belt, or other)
