Job Responsibilities: Assist with control system functionaldescriptions and specifications Prepare and maintain databases forvendors and subcontractors Learn startup and commissioning of Processand Controls projects Learn how to troubleshoot electrical controlsystems, including controllers and IO, instrumentation and computersystems Learn to design and implement PLC and HMI/SCADA control systemsAssist with review of project submittals to ensure compliance withproject expectations Education/Experience: Pursuing a degree inAutomation, Electrical or similar engineering (Mechatronics) SpecificKnowledge, Skills, License, Certifications: Excellent computer skills,including 2D and 3D CAD Basic understanding of hydraulics, fluid flow,pneumatics and electric circuits - understanding of PLCs and HMIs isvery helpful Ability to work independently Ability to adjust to changingtimelines while meeting deadlines Excellent time management skillsExcellent interpersonal team skills Environmental Factors and/orPhysical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, thisposition is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient tovisit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel,crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of10-50 pounds.
