　　A Typical Day for an Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with WesleyLife at Home/Home Health Therapy:

　　Travel in all weather conditions and to all areas of the department service area

　　Establish treatment plans and treat clients using a variety of methods to improve communication, speech, and swallowing.

　　Work cooperatively with physicians, case managers, and other members of the care team.

　　Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).

　　Compensation:

　　The pay range for this position is $75,019 - $93,774 / year. The starting pay rate will be based on years of experience.

　　Education

　　Required

　　Masters or better in Speech-Language PathologyExperience

　　Required

　　Previous home health or direct patient care experience preferred.

　　Certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, or ASHA

　　Graduate of an accredited speech-language pathology master’s program.

　　2 years: Currently licensed as a Speech Therapist in the state of Iowa

　　Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, valid insurance, and clean driving record

　　Ability to pass a pre-hire background check, pre-employment health assessment, and drug screen
