Amentum is seeking a Principal Radar Systems Engineer, Lead to support NSWCDD B40 / B60 Divisions. The ideal candidate will be able to perform systems engineering to support development, acquisition and evolutions to field advanced concepts on Navy and/or Marine Corps Radar Systems.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Execute system engineering evolutions to develop new radar architecture concepts; execute system acquisition evolution tasking; perform studies and trade analysis to evolve concepts for radar performance enhancements; support implementation of life cycle updates of fielded radar and/or sensor systems.

　　Execute engineering support on one or more of the following systems: Dual Band Radar (DBR), Ground Air Task Oriented Radar (G/ATOR), AN/SPY-1, AN/SPY-6, Enhanced Coherent Data Collection System (ECDCS) or other sensor systems.

　　Apply knowledge of engineering practices / principles necessary to assess advanced sensor / radar systems concepts, assess specifications and perform system integration.

　　Support development of engineering presentations, White Papers, system specifications, Point / Position Papers, Technical analysis and assessments and orally present technical concepts to staff and project leadership

　　Minimum Requirements:

　　Required one or more of the following -

　　(a) A Bachelor’s degree from an a school of engineering with at least one curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) as a professional engineering curriculum in one of the following fields: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Electronics Engineering; plus Twenty (20) years of professional engineering experience

　　(b) A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics; plus Twenty (20) years of professional engineering experience

　　or

　　(c) A Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics; plus Fifteen (15) years of professional engineering experience

　　or

　　(d) A Ph.D degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics; plus Ten (10) years of professional engineering experience

　　Must have an Active SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance.Preferred Qualifications:

　　Experience performing engineering evolutions related to Navy/Joint warfighting systems

　　Minimum of eight (8) years experience in complex radar systems engineering, design, analysis, or sensor software development

　　Minimum of two (2) years managerial / supervisory experience
