Role:
This individual contributor will be a critical member of the Platform Experience Product team based in Hyderabad India. The work we do inspires customers to build delightful, customer-centered, modern, and intuitive world class experiences. Your mission is to define and execute on the delivery of core platform product capabilities and deliver generic, reusable, configurable web experience templates, components, and admin experiences that are the foundational blocks for building amazing enterprise web applications. This role is extraordinarily collaborative working alongside with world-class inbound and outbound product managers across different industry verticals, engineers, designers, UX researchers, architects, QE and other cross functional teams. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Product Management, Platform Experience Product team.

Develop the product roadmap for the core platform experience that is in alignment with the leadership vision and strategy.
Assume leadership responsibilities as an accountable owner who is committed to the outcome regardless of the role or organizational boundaries.
Perform external and internal research to identify customer needs, pain paints, gaps, and identify opportunities, and solve right problems that provide compelling customer value.
Collaborate with teams spread across globally (customer success teams, outbound product managers, industry product managers, user experience, and internal product experts).
Drive the entire feature delivery lifecycle – manage backlogs, capture requirements, personas, use cases, feature prioritization, defining success metrics, write epics and user stories, partner with UX to design and prototype, work with engineering to innovate and deliver a marketable product on time.
Lead scrum team playing the product manager role.
As a product expert, demonstrate and present product capabilities to diverse internal audiences (such as customers and partners), and internal audiences (such as sales, technical support).
Can effectively present plans and roadmap to internal stakeholders and ServiceNow platform PM team.
Serve as a team lead and coach employees at junior levels.
To be successful in this role you have:
Over 8 years of Product Management experience – specifically in a B2B context.
Prior platform experience or experience in designing or implementing enterprise applications is a strong plus.
Have platform mindset and deep curiosity about customer needs and a track record in building customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
Problem solving, critical thinking skills, good understanding of web development technologies, excellent written and communications skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas.
Proven ability to influence cross-functional multidisciplinary teams of product managers, engineers, UX designers, writers, QE, work closely with other stakeholders.
Experience as a product manager leading agile teams over multiple product releases.
Collaborate effectively with engineering team on release management, understand status, risks, dependencies and help address risks and resolve issues.
A can-do attitude, with the ability to hit the ground running and deliver results with minimal direction.
Be hungry and humble, we win or lose as a team - play a critical role in creating alignment between engineering teams and stakeholders.
Passion for building delightful and frictionless customer experiences.
Other qualifications:
Prior working knowledge of ServiceNow products is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline, MBA may be helpful, but not required.
A sense of humor and grace under pressure.
