We are seeking a customer-focused, proactive, and detail-oriented individual that is passionate about maximizing the impact and scale of the AWS Worldwide Specialist Organization leadership team.We are seeking someone experienced in working with teams to develop a deep understanding of business goals and strategy and then develop programs and mechanisms to prioritize how we best use our executives in customer, partner, and employee engagements. With a global team of technical and business experts, it's important to move beyond just reacting to customer meeting requests or event participation and work across our teams to understand their business goals and help proactively find the most impactful ways to use our executives' time and attention. This person will leverage their business development and go-to-market experience to uncover trends and opportunities across our business areas and then build systems and mechanisms to map the right executive at the right time that can help drive impact for our customers and our business. This role is responsible for working with others on executive communications strategy. You come from a solid, sales operations, business development, or executive communications background ideally supporting technical areas such as engineering, software development, sales engineering or solutions architecture. You will be responsible for building a program that achieves business objectives for both internal and external audiences, have excellent writing and editing skills, and the ability to establish a professional, consistent executive message across a range of communications channels in partnership with AWS Communications and Public Relations.Key job responsibilities* Oversee Leadership Team strategy:Partner and collaborate with the Head of Business and Program Management and the WWSO LT to define strategic priorities, establish measurement criteria, and inspect to ensure successful outcomes.* Enhance Customer Engagements: In close coordination with the VP of WWSO, prioritize customer Interactions /meetings that drives significant business and customer impact. Guide and oversee complex sales customer opportunities from inception to closure. Participate in customer meetings and activities, determine slate of appropriate attendees, consolidate actions, and ensure follow-through.* Executive Communications, Case Studies & Presentations: Align with AWS Communications and Public Relations and other business partner teams, to shape, define executive themes in alignment with customer feedback and the organization's goals. Ensure that themes are amplified through incorporation into internal and external events, customer interactions, case study development, solutions portfolio development, and other communications. Manage an executive collateral repository for easy access by LT* Lead Engagement Planning: Responsible for proactively planning event, customer, and partner engagement participation for a number of executives in the AWS Worldwide Specialist (WWSO) as well as building the systems to measure effectiveness of engagements over time. Track and report on all executive engagement activities.* Drive Internal Communication Strategy: Develop and drive the executive engagement and internal communications strategy and plan that produces meaningful results for our business (e.g., revenue growth, margin improvement, productivity, etc.)* Create Compelling Presentation: Demonstrate strong presentation creation abilities, including advanced PowerPoint skills, and craft persuasive presentation, translating complex information into compelling sales material/decks.About the teamThis
