• Building and managing a team of QA Engineer who work as integrated members of a cross-functional
software team. Will be required to lead them in the design and execution of QA strategies and
methods in an agile environment and evaluating their day-to-day performance of their jobs.
• Risk & Mitigation planning
• Define, measure and monitor KPI / Metrics
• Strong Experience in both Manual and Automated testing procedures and tools.
• Experience with any one of the defect tracking tools: Rally, JIRA
• Understand the testing effort by analysing the requirement.
• Estimate and obtain management support for the time, resources and budget required to perform the
testing.
• Define the test Strategy and Test Plan.
• Identify Training requirements and forward it to the Project Manager (Technical and Soft Skills).
• Develop the test plan for the tasks, dependencies and participants required to mitigate the risks to
system quality and obtain stakeholder support for this plan.
• Arrange the Hardware and Software requirement for the Test Setup.
• Assign task to all Testing Team members and ensure that all of them have sufficient work to perform.
• Ensure content and structure of all Testing documents/artifacts is documented and maintained.
• Document, Implement, monitor, and enforce all processes for testing as per standards defined by the
organized.
• Check/Review the Test Cases documents.
• Keep track of the new requirements/change in requirements of the Project.
• Escalate the issues about project requirements (S/w, H/w, resources) to the project manager
• Attend the regular calls and discuss status
• Defect management and resolution/ Prioritization.
• Review the work of team before delivery.
• Ensure the timely delivery of different testing milestones.
• Prepares/ updates the metrices dashboard at the end of a phase or at the completion of release.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in team environment.
• Programming skills for automation testing – Selenium Java
• Experience with a revision control system such as git is plus
• Update and Maintenance of existing tests documents
• Instructing and mentoring
o Instruct their team on quality metrics and testing strategies for each project. Explains each
member's role and oversees their automated and manual work and addresses questions or
concerns
o Providing regular constructive feedback/advice
• Collaborating with management
Education & Experience: The ideal candidate will have:
Experience in control and automation systems.
Graduation: BE/ BTech/ IT Graduate
Other preferred courses/Degree: Linux, SQL, Communication protocols, certified SQA, ITCB

At least 4+ years in a Test Management role and performed management responsibilities
