TITLE: Principal Engineer ILOCATION: Englewood, Colorado

　　JOB SUMMARY:Provide technical expertise on a team responsible for providing architecture and design for on-prem cloud and hybrid cloud environments. Develop, quality assure, test, and manage Containers as a Service platform. Conduct gap analysis and feature enhancement recommendations for current platforms. Assure that operational stability expectations meet or exceed application owner needs. Interface with internal product owners, including storage, computer, automation pipeline, solution services, and network teams. Contribute to cross-functional and cross-organizational teams that develop solutions and strategies for Charter’s Software Defined Data Center. Design, implement, monitor, enhance, and troubleshoot systems in assigned areas. Analyze and revise existing system logic difficulties and document as necessary. Provide engineering technical support and guidance to regional personnel. Collaborate on deployment strategy of container platform and contribute to the evolution of the platform. Mentor and guide the work of technical staff. Review work plans and designs and advise on improvements.

　　EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 4 years of experience programming in python. 3 years of experience utilizing Kubernetes to deploy k8s clusters for microservices; and engaging in pipeline automation to deploy code and conduct automated testing. 2 years of experience utilizing Rancher for Kubernetes orchestration and management; and conducting continuous integration and continuous deployment to deploy applications. *A hybrid (office and remote) work arrangement is available.

　　The pay for this position has a salary range of$152,069.00 to $196,400.00. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
