　　Primary Therapist

　　Key Functions:Utilize psychosocial assessments and screening tools to determine appropriate level of care andassist in the development of the Mental Health Treatment Plan.Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and skills-based services inaccordance with the Mental Health Treatment Plan.Completes necessary documentation in a timely manner and in accordance with state andfederal regulations and agency policies.Engage in collateral consultation and/or complex care coordination.Completes appropriate documentation to connect clients with identified service needs.Provides clinical supervision to graduate interns or Primary Therapist.Provides training to Primary Therapists on the electronic health record and provides technicalassistance when there are software issues.Consults with interdisciplinary team members and engages in ongoing supervision.Completes professional development activities as required by licensure in addition to agencytrainings and meetings.Meets or exceeds productivity expectations.Provides on-call emergency coverage as scheduled for the mental health divisionAdhere to Company policies and procedures to include being aware of the importance ofCorporate Compliance Policies and the Code of Conduct. Staff is responsible for maintainingrequired certifications and licenses.Education, Experience, Skills and/or Licensing/Certification Required:A Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling and licensure in New York Stateas a Limited Permit MHC, LMHC, or LMSW.One to three years of experience in public or community mental health settings serving lowincome and culturally diverse populations.Computer literacy required.
