Job Overview
The Primary Hazardous Waste Technician performs the duties associated with the collection, consolidation, packaging, labeling, and transporting of hazardous and regulated substances.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Job Functions:
Assists workers with hazardous waste duties.Maintains current knowledge in regulations and requirements of hazardous waste.Performs all work safely, accurately, efficiently, and reliably.Effectively communicates with customers and the hazardous waste operations manager to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient work performance.Performs other related work as assigned.Job RequirementsMandatory:
High School Diploma or equivalent.Must be knowledgeable in the regulations and requirements of hazardous waste.Must hold a current TWIC identification card.Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET Security clearance if required.Ability to successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract.U.S. Citizenship.Reasonable Accommodation:
