The Pricing Managerwillmanage Offer pricing and implements pricing strategies for WEC products or services. Analyzes company costs, industry pricing trends and prices at competitor companies. Develops strategies for pricing to improve sales. The role of the Pricing Manager is to drive margin and market share growth through pricing excellence by owning & maintaining the central OPS pricing tools, data, and reporting, as well as running the deal desk to provide deal-level pricing support to Sales.
This role is eligible for a hybrid/mobile working arrangement (2 - 3 days per week in-office) from either our Cranberry Twp., PA or Madison, PA locations.
Your Day to Day:Coordinate overall pricing strategy and its translation into the sales-facing tools (e.g., pricing floors) to support overall financial and share goals. Define strategic pricing initiatives & streamline pricing decisions.Own & maintain pricing tools, manage backlog of enhancements/changes based on feedback from users, new data, changes to business strategy. Maintain procedure docs for tool.Maintain input data in coordination with Customer Solutions Managers and IT (e.g., standard costs with CSMs, past deal data with IT, discrete repeatable services)Maintain and share price performance reporting metrics with leadership (e.g., price adherence). Run surveys to capture user inputs.Run daily meetings / respond to ad-hoc requests to provide pricing tool and deal-specific guidance to Sales pricing deals, flag deals that need approval and coordinate deal approval meetings.
Who You Are:Bachelors of Science or Business DegreeMasters or MBA Preferred5 - 10 years of relevant experience in business, pricing, or sales roles in the Nuclear Power Industry.Analytically savvy, fluent in using PowerBI and ExcelBusiness acumenKnowledge of Nuclear services marketFamiliar with WEC service offering across OMS, ES, I&C, Parts, BHIStrong inter-personal skills, ability to debate pricing decisions/guidance with Sales team
