Responsible for the coordination of print jobs for the offset press printing process. Processes runs and is responsible for all press functions.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs start up on machine as necessary. Stocks station and issues stock as needed in certain facilities. Fills ink fountain and makes appropriate adjustments, inks press, makes roller adjustments as needed. Performs ink readings throughout the shift. Hangs plate on press. Prints runs. Checks quality of work. Performs appropriate clean up procedures at end of shift. Works closely with other departments to include Bindery, Quality, Prepress as well as members of the Leadership team. 90%Performs scheduled preventive maintenance. 5%Performs other job duties as assigned.
