  Postdoctoral Researcher in Engineering Education

  We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our research team as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Engineering Education. This position is part of an exciting project aimed at developing an innovative engineering teamwork assessment tool using evidence-centered design. The project will focus on the domain analysis and modeling using both qualitative and quantitative tools.

  Responsibilities include:

  Conduct extensive meta-analysis and gather relevant research on teamwork in engineering classrooms and industry.Collect and analyze data using various research methods, such as surveys, interviews, and observations.Develop theoretical framework describing the domain of teamwork in authentic engineering learning environments.Develop survey assessment arguments based on the teamwork framework.Contribute to the preparation of research reports and scholarly publications.Present research findings at conferences and seminars.Assist in the supervision and mentoring of graduate and undergraduate students involved in the project.

  Requirements:

  A Ph.D. in Engineering Education, Engineering, or a related field.Strong background and research experience in engineering education is preferred.Demonstrated expertise in quantitative and/or qualitative research methods.Experience with data collection, analysis, and interpretation.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a research team.

  1. Candidate CV, including publication list and date of Ph.D. graduation, and listing the Ph.D. advisors name. If not yet graduated, please note the estimated date for graduation. Applicants graduating before September 1st 2017 will not be considered. Font size should be no smaller than 11pt.

  2. Two letters of recommendation, including one that must be from the candidate's PhD thesis advisor, which provide detailed assessments of the candidate's qualifications and potential for innovative, ground-breaking independent research.

  Pay Range:

  $54,840.00 - $75,000.00

  Pay Ranges:

  The hiring rate of pay for the successful candidate will be determined considering the following criteria:

  Prior relevant work or industry experience.

  Education level to the extent education is relevant to the position.

  Academic Discipline (faculty pay ranges reflects 9-month annual salary)

  Unique applicable skills.
