Job ID351806 LocationTwin Cities Job FamilyAcademic Full/Part TimeFull-Time Regular/TemporaryRegular Job Code9546 Employee ClassAcad Prof and Admin About the Job Duties/Responsibilities The Department of Radiology at the University of Minnesota seeks a scientist to join a collaborative research program developing software tools for acquiring and analyzing MRS in brain cancer. The research will be conducted at the University's world-renowned Center for Magnetic Resonance Research (CMRR), in collaboration with colleagues from CMRR and other collaborating institutions. Primary responsibility will be to test algorithms and sequences developed by other team members and acquire high-quality localized spectra from patients with brain tumors at 3 T. Additional responsibilities will be spectral processing, critical analysis of data quality, archiving data, summarizing results, preparing manuscript and presentations, interacting with other team members and collaborators, mentoring students, and pursuing research and other scholarly activities. All required qualifications must be documented in your application materials.
