STATEMENT OF RESEARCH AND SCIENTIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES* A highly motivated and skilled researcher in immunology with experience in flow cytometry and in vitro co-culture. Experience in single cell RNA sequencing, cell isolation, cytokine analysis, and mouse models is valuable. Experience in microbiology or studies of the microbiome in human disease would be an asset.* Projects currently address utilizing systems immunology approaches to study innate immunity and the microbiome in infection and disease, specifically women's health. Current research projects include infertility, cervical cancer, and transgender health.* The qualified candidate will utilize systems immunology techniques including flow cytometry, cell culture, bacterial culture, single cell RNA sequencing, cytokine analysis, cell isolation, and data analysis.* As a research associate, he/she will present data at departmental seminars and scientific meetings, prepare manuscripts, and contribute preliminary data for grant proposals.* Additional managerial experience will be an asset and looked upon favorablyII.
